My new skirt from Korean brand Baroque came in the mail this morning. I'm so in love with it!

the matching head bow it came with

a bow in the mint version of the print. This came as to a surprise to me, I wasn't expecting it :D

I also got a few extra little gifts

I love this skirt so much! I have never had a lolita skirt that fit me so well, and was very flattering. I look forward to future releases from Baroque.

outfit prep for comic con

Since NYCC is just over 2 months away, I have to start planning my outfits for the con. For one day I want to wear something over the top like the outfit above. The other two days are probably going to consist of normal clothes and cosplay.

I'm taking the opportunity to dress as insane as I can. Plus later on that month I'm going to wear the same dress but to a formal event. Which should be a good lolita vs lolita at a formal event entry.

Metamophose lucky pack contents

My lucky pack from Metamorphose came in the mail this morning :D! I ordered one of the dark colored lucky packs, since I can live with getting any of those colors. Mean while if I got pink or white from the light colored ones I would've been upset and sold all of it. I'm very pleased to see that I got a bordeaux colored pack. Now the contents:

NYCC costume plan

So this year a friend and I decided that we wanted to make costumes for this year's New York Comic Con. Initially I was going to go as Log Lady from "Twin Peaks" while my friend goes as Green Man from "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia." Those plans fell out, so we came up with another idea, go as Daft Punk. As of right now, I'm in charge of making a Thomas Bangalter. So this blog will probably see a few posts about how my helmet and the rest of my costume is going.

But for now, these are the materials I'm using as inspiration for my costume.

inspiration from viral videos

Dear IAMAMIWHOAMI,

We may have gotten off on the wrong foot. I love it when you aren't covered in mud doing the nasty with trees and killing dogs. But to be honest, your first six videos scared the fuck out of me. But I find a good portion of your latest six videos to be inspiring in every aspect of them.

It's pretty clear that it's Jonna Lee. I can't wait to see how this project fully develops. What are your thoughts on this particular mysterious viral campaign?

oh blog how I have neglected you

Again, I have successfully neglected this little blog of mine. Partially because I took a little break from lolita to focus on other things. So I'm crossing my fingers that I can get this up and running.

There is quite a few things coming my way in terms of lolita. Like lucky packs, custom blouses, and my first piece from Baroque. So all of those will get their own review post.

So stay tuned because I haven't forgotten about this blog.
